Eating Out*: U-Tong Thai Vegan Restaurant

*In the past.

So, normally when I post an eating out post, I like to have at least a few photos to share. Either I've been there with friends, or maybe I've collected some photos over a couple of visits. Which is what I intended to fo with U-Tong, but who knows when I will eat there again, so enjoy this short post for our weekend.

I have a few previous posts about PingAn Veggie Time, which was a vegan Thai restaurant in Clayfield. The owners moved to Adelaide and closed PingAn, but some of their friends took over the same location and rebranded it as U-Tong Thai Vegan Restaurant. The menu is fairly similar, but with a few changes.

The one time I stopped in was for a lunch close to their closing time, so the full menu wasn't available. But I did get the lunch special Pad See Ew with veggies and tofu. Pad See Ew is my favourite Thai dish, and this one was lovely.

One day I'll get back to eat more and then I will be able to post a bit more about it.

Until then, U-Tong Thai Vegan Restaurant is currently open for takeaway, and they have delivery if you are in their local area, which I sadly am not.

Dim Sim

This is our bed. Her back feet are on her blankie, her front feet are on my pillow. Sure thing, Dim Sim!

Dim Sim looks like she's going to prep your pillow for you!

  2. Their menu looks so good! And based on the pad see ew it is executed beautifully, too.

What do you mean "your" pillow, she seems to ask.

    1. You are correct. What is mine is hers and what is hers is... hers. ;)
