The Paper Moon aspect of it is the seating and the cafe, it has drinks and also stocks some vegan baked goods! I ordered a chocolate and banana smoothie, which was nothing outstanding but was exactly what I was after.
Wild Spice is a food truck located right next to it, so you can go and order food from there. They are all vegan, and have a savoury menu as well as a few pastries. I ordered The Amelie, which was a croissant, tofu scramble, roasted tomatoes, aioli and hash browns. Also a pile of rocket because Australian cafes just cannot get enough of rocket, a shame because I don't love it. Anyway, this was pretty good, though the scramble could have done with a bit more flavour.

I know everyone is hanging out for Abby and Boo news, but I also want to keep honouring my three heart cat here. They are a part of me forever, and they were my soulmates. So here is Dim Sim, when she was all curled up like a perfect little charcoal brioche bun!
Sometimes you just want something familiar and tasty, and a banana-chocolate smoothie fills the bill nicely.
ReplyDeleteIt's been far too long since I had a croissant...
We are a little spoiled for vegan croissant options here. It is nice.
DeleteThat purrfectly circular furball is so relaxing to look at. Can’t look away if I wanted to.
ReplyDeleteSomething so lovely about a perfectly circular cat snooze.
DeleteAw, what a cutie Dim Sim! And a fun lunch plate, I rarely have a savoury croissant and I really do like them.
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer a savoury croissant, especially if I am out.
DeleteYes, what is it with rocket? American restaurants are the same way. Did Big Rocket get involved & convince chefs that was the only legit leafy green? I'm not a fan of the bitter taste either.
ReplyDeleteBig Rocket... surely it must be them. It is a weird bitter spiky leaf. Why must it be everywhere?
